League play in NHSL
plus local and regional tournaments
FALL 2023
MWV Soccer Club fields teams in multiple age categories for play in the NH Soccer League (NHSL). League play consists of 7 matches divided between home (typically at Kennett Middle School) and away at opponent fields throughout the state. The season begins with player evaluations in early-to-mid August, followed by two-a-week practices on weekday evenings. League games occur on weekends from late August to mid-to-late October, ending in a state championship tournament for teams that qualify.

In addition to NHSL league play, MWVSC teams participate in Labor Day Weekend and Columbus Day Weekend Tournaments.

Open registration for Fall 2023 is now closed.

PLAYER EVALUATIONS
We hold player evaluations instead of tryouts. We want every athlete playing soccer. For ages U11 and above some players may be named a “Practice Player”. Practice players get the benefit of training with the team, but will most likely not see actual game playing time. Practice players may see game playing time if there is a need based on injuries, number of players, player improvement or decisions made by the Coach. The cost for Practices Players is $80.

We do require full payment in advance. Refunds for Practice Players will be issued via GotSport after evaluations. Refunds process on the credit card used at the time of purchase
AGE GROUPS
When determining the age group for a season, the year the season ends should be used for determining the birth year. Also, note that the format “U followed by age” really means that age and younger. For example, U8 should be read as 8 and younger. For more age-group information, please refer to this sheet.

Players that wish to play with an older group must attend the player evaluations for both age groups. There is a form to fill out if you wish to have your player considered to play up to the next age group. Download the PlayUp Agreement and the PlayUp Application. Please email Kelly or Kevin with your request ahead of time.
UNIFORMS
Returning players will use the same navy blue Adidas uniform. New players will need to purchase a uniform from soccer.com. Players will be sent a link to purchase the uniform kit on soccer.com. If you want to use a uniform from a sibling or friend, please let us know so we have the correct uniform number for rosters.

MWVSC strongly believes financial hardship should not prevent players from participating in the club programs. Player/Parents are encouraged to speak confidentially with a club board member, or Kelly Gagnon. The club will work to determine a mutually beneficial solution. You can also apply for the Rocco Foundation Scholarship by clicking below.
