Board of Directors
President and Interim Registrar - Ryan Burke
My love of soccer began when I was seven years old. My dad was career Army so I traveled a lot and learned to play soccer in many places but mostly in Germany and New England. While in Germany I was part of a team that won the Small Schools European Championship. In Massachusetts during my junior and senior year of High School I was part of a Division 2 program that ended up State runners-up both years and was named to the All-Conference team.
My soccer career continued at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a Division III School where I received four Varsity letters. As a player at WPI I was named to All-Conference, All-New England, and All-American teams and in my senior year was named the Conference Player of the Year.
I have been a board member with the MWV Soccer Club since 2012. Prior to that I was involved with many of the programs and for many years have helped with the North Conway Fall Soccer Recreation programs.
Most recently I was the Kennett High School Freshmen Boys soccer coach. Currently I am looking to advance my coaching experience through certifications and will continue to be part of the North Conway programs.
My son Jackson who is 9 and my daughter Haylee who is 7 play soccer. My hope for them is that they find something to be passionate about and be successful at, and perhaps it will be SOCCER.
