2011 Campaign
Dear MWV Soccer Fans and Parents,
We need your support!! We need sponsors! We are raisng the quality of soccer in the valley and your money will help us train coaches and lower the costs to local youth soccer players.
If you are receiving this email, then your child or a friend's child has probably participated in one of the MWV Soccer Club associated soccer camps, travel teams, skills clinics, Fall Jamboree, or in the Sunday Spring Rec program. This is an exciting time for the club as we are implementing a new soccer curriculum, authored by Coach Giovanni Pacini, head coach for Lasell College and Regional Director for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) for Massachusetts and New Hampshire. In addition we are coming off a very successful year that has included both fall and spring travel teams, more than 100 children involved in the Spring Sunday Rec soccer program, as well as a great MWV elementary school championship Jamboree.
In the coming year we are hoping to solidify our new programs, as well as institute the new curriculum throughout the valley. We believe that the game of soccer continues to be one the best opportunities for children for exercise and is one of the most challenging team and individual skill sports in the world. We adhere to the philosophy that the soccer field is a clasroom and coaches are teachers. We are providing opportunities for anyone who coaches soccer for us to get free certification through NSCAA so the kids are taught at the highest level possible. In addition we would love to lower the cost of our programs to the kids who participate by developing strategic relationships with individuals and businesses throughout the valley
In short, we would love to have you or your business as a sponsor. We have set up $100, $250, and $500 gift levels with different opportunities for advertising. In addition we welcome in kind gifts of food and supplies to help run our tournaments.
If you cannot afford to give in these challenging financial times, we very much understand. Furthermore, if you know any children who would like to participate in an MWV Soccer program but cannot due to cost concerns please let us know. We want to give every child in the greater MWV the chance to experience high quality soccer opportunities.
